About Us
We are a small woman built, owned, and woman run company located in the heart of the Catskills. We believe in attention to detail and in individualized, "old fashioned" customer care. No project or job is too small for us.
Who We Are
Petra Link has a strong background as a research scientist in academia and previously worked at a non-profit cancer institute for over 15 years as well as at a wildlife hospital for over 10 years. Her passion, however, has always been herpetology and environmental work.
She earned a certificate degree in Wetland delineation from Rutgers University, is a certified Master Herpetologist (The Amphibian Institute) and holds a Master's of Science degree from the Univerisity of Buffalo.
She first persued her passions as wildlife rehabilitator and educator and has taught many classes at the New York State Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and local reptile clubs, and was vocationally trained in venomous snake handling and care. She then began field work with KT Wildlife as a Threatened and Endangered Species Monitor and Wildlife Biologist before branching out on her own after the owner of KT Wildlife sadly passed away.
